    Leider sind von der Burg, die einst eine der bedeutendsten Burgen in Yorkshire gewesen sein mus, nur noch Ruinen zu sehen.
    Aktuell entsteht ein großes Besucherzentrum, in dem man das Leben auf der Burg zu dieser Zeit zeigen möchte.
    Die jetzigen Ruinen werden zum Teil weiter ausgegraben und konserviert, damit diese nicht weiter verwittern.
