Der Triumphbogen ist halbspitz und gebogen. Das linke Kapitell ist mit pflanzlichen Elementen verziert. Das Rechte ist figurativ: mit geöffnetem Maul, was innerhalb der romanischen Ikonographie den Kampf des Menschen gegen das Böse zu symbolisieren scheint. Der Triumphbogen wurde durch ein Eisentor aus dem 13. Jahrhundert verschlossen, das einzige erhaltene romanische Tor in Melide.
