    Die auf 2.192 Metern Höhe gelegene Dondena-Hütte ist ein ehemaliges königliches Jagdschloss, dessen ursprüngliche Bausubstanz noch aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert stammt.

    Die Hütte ist strategisch günstig für Höhenwanderungen gelegen, da sie sich am Schnittpunkt der Wanderwege des Nationalparks Gran Paradiso, des Regionalparks Mont Avic und der Täler des Piemont befindet. Dank ihrer Nähe zur Gemeindestraße ist sie leicht erreichbar und somit ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.
