    Im Jahr 1718 schlug Samuel Görner eine Höhle in den Stein. Hier lebte er als Einsiedler und stellte gelegentlich Brillen und Ferngläser im Auftrag her. Ursprünglich war er aber ein Gärtner gewesen, vielleicht daher die Liebe zur Natur.

    Samuel lebte bis 1735 hier. Danach übersiedelte er in die Felsenburg Sloup. Die Höhe wurde seit dem nicht mehr dauerhaft bewohnt.

    Um 1900 wurden dann die beiden Aussichtspunkte auf und neben der Behausung errichtet. Die Aussicht, lässt sich seit dem gefahrenfreier bewundern.
