    Für den Beginenhof von Turnhout ist kein genaues Gründungsdatum bekannt, vermutlich wurde er jedoch im 13. Jahrhundert gegründet.

    Das frühklassizistische Torhaus und der langgestreckte, von Bäumen gesäumte Platz charakterisieren diesen Beginenhof. Es gibt eine gut erhaltene Barockkirche, eine Krankenstation und Häuser aus dem 16. und 17. Jahrhundert.

    Die letzte Begine, Großfräulein Anna De Boer, starb im Jahr 2002.
