    Lanty's Tarn ist ein kleiner See am östlichen Rand des Birkhouse Moor oberhalb von Patterdale. Der Name stammt von einer verkürzten Version von Lancelot, dem das Anwesen gehörte (nicht dem Ritter). Es wurde im 19. Jahrhundert aufgestaut und leicht vergrößert und zum Fischen und Eis genutzt.
