The first tour of the new year was to visit the dike construction site in Büderich. Via Wallach-Ossenberg, along the dike via Eversael to Orsoy. There we took a break at the Edeka supermarket near the Büsch bakery. As always, top quality. We went through the fields via Budberg to Rheinberg. From Rheinberg

Today our route led via Perrich, along the dyke over the Wesel Bridge to the other side of the Rhine.
Behind the bridge past the dog park, through the Lippe Auen, to the Rhein-Lippe port. Cross the Wesel-Datteln Canal in the direction of Friedrichsfeld to the forest cemetery. From there through the forest

For those not familiar with the route, the starting point is again at Ginderich Church. Around Ginderich, head towards Birten. From there, head towards Veen. Through the village of Veen, head towards Wolfhagenstrasse - Passsentr. - Heckstrasse towards Haus Höfer. Follow Röhlenstrasse to the Büsch bakery
