The view from the hiking and tobogganing mountain Muottas Muragl (2,456 meters) over the Upper Engadine is so unique that you could forget why, apart from the panorama, you actually came up here. Almost all peaks, valleys and lakes in the region can be seen from here in high gloss. The romantic hotel shines in a modern freshness, on the Philosophers Panorama Path you stroll through a winter fairytale backdrop, and on the fastest toboggan run in the region, the tempo rush beckons.

The Schafberg with its hut was the place where the artist Segantini retired to work in September 1899. Here he also died suddenly. Today the mountain is therefore not only a place to pause for art fans. The view is also inviting.

In the footsteps of the famous painter Giovanni Segantini you reach one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Upper Engadine. "Will I be able to give to nature, which I paint, the illumination that gives color to life?" At the Segantini Hut (2731 m above sea level) you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the incomparable Engadin lake landscape and the Bernina Massif. After a refreshment you take the steep descent along the climate gorge down to Alp Languard, where you will soon arrive in Pontresina by chairlift.
