Great bike ride from Killarney to the Gap of Dunloe.
The provided track was recommended by Killarny Bike Rental (killarneyrentabike.com) and follows mainly low traffic roads; only the piece between the Upper Lake and Lake Muckross goes along the N71 which is unpleasant due to the high traffic during the summer months.
Also, remember that you are never alone and often share the track with jaunting cars and walkers.
There are nice places for a rest (and coffee/drink) on the way (e.g. Kate Kearney's Cottage and Lord Brandon's Cottage).
Cycling up to the Gap of Dunloe and down into the Black Valley are definitely the absolute high lights due to the spectactular views!
