For this 2nd stage, some of us struggled to finish (military camp activity in the morning) between a puncture and a broken chain. I made quite a few stops and accompanied the latecomers.

Not a very smooth route, if the weather is wet it's not even worth it, prefer a mountain bike, all the trees were cut down!!! Better to wait a good ten years to do the Canal du Midi.
PS, as of April 10th all the campsites are closed.

Relatively fresh with a few aches and pains, we left shortly before 9am. The first kilometers on the Canal du Midi were quite nice. The search for a supermarket took us on a 7 km national road odyssey. Also without success. Back at the Canal du Midi it was either big gravel or totally bumpy and against the wind. It …
