A beautiful circular tour starting at Lake Kaltern.
If you do the tour in the opposite direction, you'll have less pushing on the way up.

A challenging tour from the foot of Lake Kaltern up to the Leuchtenberg. The last climb to the fortress can only be reached on foot due to the steep and bumpy path.

Warning: be sure to apply insect repellent. There are probably still knights' corpses buried here somewhere.

A few flowing forest stretches, no real trails.

So, after setting off last night at 6.5 degrees Celsius, rain all the way to Imst, heavy rain in Nauders, and sunshine from Merano onwards. ☀️
I wanted to "quickly" climb the Leuchtenburg ruins today. It's quite a pain to get up there, but the view makes up for all the effort 😀👌
