The Brend lookout tower is almost 1,150 meters high. If the visibility is good, you can see far from the 17-meter-high tower: Hochfirst, Feldberg, Belchen, Schauinsland and Kandel can be clearly seen from here, with a little luck you can even see the Swiss Alps from up here.

A great, but also strenuous tour with Johann von Furtwangen over the Brend to Martin's Chapel, Danube source and back via Vöhrenbach.

The only thing that was more strenuous was the detour down to the Wolfhof. The Wolfhof belongs to the BBL Association of Baden Rural Youth. I have fond memories of this time as a child. So we had …
