The city park is also called Krookska plantation and is one of the city's most popular parks. It is also one of the main green lungs in the stone city of Helsingborg. In the park, visitors meet with students and families with children.
The park was built between 1873 and 1874 and opened to the public in 1877. The Krook family donated the land to the city in 1870, when it was used for "walking and planting".
