That stone bridge on Cetina is composed of medieval stone megaliths - stećak. Few of the passers-by know that the stećci, of which the bridge is partly made, were tombstones. It is a unique example of river bridging, little known in Croatia, even less in the world, despite the fact that it is located near large archaeological sites in the small municipality of Civljane, between the Vrli and Knin regions.

These old piles of stones tell of days long gone and give the tour a special atmosphere. The bridge is certainly not an obstacle that you can easily cross, but it is ideal as a photo opportunity and a short stop to take in the surroundings. Nature seems to have taken everything back under its control, which gives the route a wild, rustic charm. If you need a little break, you can take your time here and take in the landscape before you get back on the saddle.
