Vandring
The Burghalde Kempten is a trapezoidal elevation in the middle of the old town of Kempten. Already in the Middle Ages stood a castle on this site, which was demolished in the 18th century. Only a built around 1488 square tower of the city wall was preserved in the northwest of the plant. In 1950, an open-air stage with over 1000 seats was built in the south of the area, which is used in the summer months as a venue for concerts or as an open-air cinema.
