Berkeley Castle is a historic fortress nestled in the charming town of Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England.     Dating back to the 11th century Berkeley Castle has belonged to the Berkeley family for over eight centuries. The castle has witness turbulent history – believed to be the murder scene of King Edward II in 1327 after the castle was ransacked by forces in 1326.

    The beautiful castle was restored in 2006. Today, you can explore the well-preserved castle and its gardens from 10.30am - 5pm daily (last admission 4pm). Tickets for adults cost £12.50 and include a guided tour. You can find more information, here: berkeley-castle.com
