For me it is a good place to get water, the fountain at the beginning of the cycle path is strategic for position!

A convenient cycle-pedestrian path runs alongside this small pre-Alpine lake of glacial origin, which is much smaller than the surrounding lakes of Pusiano, Annone and Alserio.
An interesting feature of this lake is the absence of visible tributaries along its perimeter, which suggests to all scholars of this area the presence of underwater springs of karst origin, a hypothesis compatible with the fact that the entire valley in which it lies is formed by limestone rocks (Domaro limestone).

Lake Segrino is one of the smallest lakes in the Larian Triangle. It is a very clean lake and perfect for walks of low difficulty with the family.
