At the end of the 19th century, the tower hill was crowned with a Calvary and a grotto was dug on the sides, representing the tomb of Christ. A Way of the Cross, inaugurated in 1911 and destroyed in 1944, was restored by the residents in 1967.

A touching place.
The Donjon du Plessis dates from the 11th century and offers an unobstructed view of the Cotentin marshes, the Mont Castre and the peat bog of Gorges. The Donjon was almost completely destroyed in these war days and was in ruins for over 20 years. Only in 1967 did a squad of volunteers begin to rescue from the remains what could be saved. In addition to panels with interesting facts about the history of the donjon, a Way of the Cross was created.
