The Linn of Quoich, otherwise known as the Earl of Mar's Punch Bowl is a natural hole worn away in. a rock that was used as a punchbowl at the end of hunting deer in the adjacent forest. It makes a great spot for a picnic and is thought to be a favourite of Queen Victoria.

Løb

Water rushes through the narrow Linn of Quoich making a picturesque stopping point. Queen Victoria was very fond of this place and it became a popular attraction, but nowadays it is much quieter than the nearby Linn of Dee. Upriver from the Quoich the path was always very rough and in recent years has been damaged by flooding - it is still possible - and very beautiful - but is something of an obstacle course, requiring care, in places.

Vandring

Parking available at the end of the public road, and a short walk along the trail. Interesting falls, and the punch bowl is its centre piece. Great spot for lunch.
