The Stone City stretches beneath the Sassolungo and is characterized by the many stones of various sizes that can be climbed or mounted. From the walkway, you can admire the surrounding stones and the imposing walls of the Sassolungo.

The City of Sassi is a paradise for bouldering lovers. It can be reached with a short walk from Passo Sella. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Sassolungo and the surrounding peaks.

The Stone Town is known to anyone who drives the Sellaronda in winter: a sea of stones at the foot of the Sassolungo. Through this tangle leads a hiking trail (not mobile!) And a steep dirt road that merges into a wide hiking trail. Here is always busy in the holiday season. Best to drive early in the morning, then the way is a dream!
