Vandring
The Holzberg Tower is almost back up. However, the tower is no longer made of wood, but of steel. It also takes its name from the Holzberg on which it stands. It will have 140 steps and two platforms at heights of 16 and 24 meters. I was able to see first hand how the roof was put together. A lot of the work is being done on a voluntary basis, I could see from the information board. It should be possible to climb it again from May.

Unfortunately, the tower had to be demolished and is currently under reconstruction. Construction is scheduled to be completed later this year. The way up to the tower is relatively steep and the bike may need to be pushed. At the foot of the mountain there is a parking lot, here you can inform yourself about the progress of the construction work and decide beforehand, if you want to dare the ascent.

The tower is free! The ascent is not so suitable for people with fear of heights, because the platforms are made of bars that you can look through.
