In the large hall on the first floor, valuable wall paintings can be seen, including a rare green monochrome picture of wild men from the early Renaissance. The museum offers an impressive insight into medieval life and displays numerous historical testimonies as well as a detailed model of the largest Hohenstaufen imperial palace north of the Alps.

Vandring
One of the largest Romanesque stone houses in Germany. The queen resided here. The many different windows, which were only added later, are striking.
The Staufers initially did without them in order to be able to heat the house better. The advantage is that it stays warm, but the disadvantage is that you couldn't ventilate and it was dark...
