The tour with the spectacular views leads over a boardwalk. Former railway planks prepare the way, so that one comes dry foot through this breathtaking moorland and moorland.

From the car park at Upper Lake, a path leads up over the Poulanass Waterfall ... which is steep and with countless steps. The path over Miners Village is not quite as steep and goes zig zag way.

Shortly after the small wooden bridge that leads over the little water leading Glenealo River, the path begins over the railway planks. From here you have great views over the picturesque valley with its famous lakes.
