    Nice climb to the dam. Not really a challenge, but with enough speed that regulates itself. Something more going on in summer, otherwise it will work.

    The route has little traffic and even if the asphalt is a bit rough, the route is varied. On the descent you have a beautiful view of the Zülpicher and Dürener Börde up to Sophienhöhe. The inn on the Steinbach and the dam itself are closed after the 2021 flood and there is no more water in the dam
