Zell am See is a pretty place on the lake, surrounded by a beautiful Alpine panorama. The historic old town lies on a Schwemmkegel of Schmittenbach. Along the shore leads a promenade. All in all a very idyllic place with many restaurants and cafes.

A pretty place with good shopping, restaurants and cafes and chic grand hotel with great terrace and lake view. You can easily cycle around the lake by bike. Unfortunately, the east bank is built and the path leads over the partly busy country road.
