The moated castle on the Freiberger Mulde was first mentioned in a document from the year 1487. In the centuries that followed, the property changed hands several times and was continually renovated and expanded.

A beautiful castle. Next to the castle there is a rest area with a bistro and a beautiful view of the Mulde, as well as a restaurant.
