Castrillo de los Polvazares is a very picturesque town. In fact, it was declared a historical-artistic complex of high monumental value by UNESCO.
It is striking that all its houses are made of stone and follow the same traditional architectural line.
Today it is a tourist town and that is why you will also find many restaurants. If you are going to stop here to eat, prepare to enjoy yourself because here the cocido maragato, typical of the region, is famous.
