Mountainbiking

Dobbiaco (1.256 meters) is the gateway to the Dolomites. Through the wildly romantic Höhlensteintal, which branches off at Dobbiaco in the south, opens up the heart of the pale mountains. The Three Peaks Nature Park extends eastwards and the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park extends westwards from Toblach in South Tyrol. The two nature parks in the region offer wonderful opportunities for hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. The blue-green shimmering Dobbiaco Lake is best for curling in winter and suitable for boating in summer.

Nice little town with everything you could need. Good hotels, decent restaurants and great bus connections to all sights and in all directions!
