Today I was led around in the courtyard by a very nice DMG employee and learned a lot about the work of the DMG relief organization.
Here at Buchenauer Hof is the home center for over 400 employees who are deployed worldwide for church-related social tasks.

The Buchenauerhof estate was already mentioned in the early 18th century. Today's castle-like building, which is well worth seeing, dates from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Century. It was built in place of a burned down mansion. In the building there is an old spiral staircase from the Waldangelloch Castle (which was demolished in 1899).
The "Deutsche Missionsgemeinschaft DMG" has owned the estate since 1971 and uses it as a training and recreation center.

It all looks so sectarian that I have not yet dared to enter the beautiful courtyard of the castle.
