Cykling

The term “terroir” was coined by the monks in France as early as the 16th century and used here specifically for agricultural, culinary products such as cheese, meat or herbs. In the case of wine, this term describes all the factors that shape a wine. To deal with the "terroir" of a wine means to "feel" it, its origin, its soil, the climatic conditions, the microclimate in the soil, the exposure of the vineyard, the grape variety and of course the philosophy and work ethic of the winemaker. The small "f" stands for Francs.
