It doesn't matter whether you just watch or bravely join one of the rafting adventures on offer: the Markkleeberg whitewater park is awesome! The facility was planned for Leipzig's bid for the 2012 Olympic Games. It is one of the most modern whitewater facilities with competition and training courses.
Rafting trips, whitewater and surfing courses are offered. If you are experienced, you can also train on your own in the facility. I also like to go for a swim there. ;) You can find out more at: kanupark-markkleeberg.com

A really nice tour, at the end you can eat and drink deliciously on the wild water terrace!
