Cykling

Great information station and rain protection. The lock is reproduced true to the original. Only the location was a bit stupid, since the street has no bike path.

Vandring

The lock no. 94 is a faithfully restored monument of King Ludwig Canal from the 19th century.
All informative see the information boards (photos) and / or schleuse94.de/index.php.
The only thing missing is the obligatory lock keeper's house. You can still admire such an original 5 km south in Forchheim at the intersection Bamberger Str. / Adenauerallee. "Lock keeper's house No. 93" komoot.de/highlight/646096.
The Eggolsheimer like to forget to mention this. However, there is nothing left in FO except the cottage.

Mountainbiking

Restored lock system on the old canal, the bed of which initially runs along the main road and from Forchheim then under the Frankenschnellweg A73 to the port of Nuremberg.
