In the north of Düsseldorf lies Kaiserswerth, one of the most beautiful and richest districts of the Rhine metropolis. Here you can take a relaxed stroll, enjoy the culinary delicacies of the Rhenish cuisine and, above all, the historical ambience. Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa had a powerful fortress built here. The remains of the Imperial Palace can still be visited today.
