Now more of a lowlight than a highlight.
The only evidence of what was surely once a beautifully landscaped garden are the information signs. In the garden itself, some of the paths are overgrown. The "nameplates" for the trees are missing or vice versa.

The Forstbotanische Garten is an old garden from the 1930s with exotic trees and shrubs. Currently it is being redesigned.

Near the Heilig Kreuz forester's house there is a 1.5 hectare area with foreign wood species. Between 1930 and 1933, the then head of the forestry office, Forstrat Klamm, had it built as a "planting garden" with trees and shrubs that do not actually occur in our region.
