The Gnoien Water Tower is one of the most striking and beautiful technical monuments in the small town of Gnoien on the Warbel River. The tower was built between 1911 and 1913 and completed in 1913.
It was constructed as part of the introduction of a modern, centralized drinking water supply for Gnoien (then still a small rural town). This included a waterworks (1912) and a pipe network. The water tower provided the necessary pressure and storage for the drinking water.
It is considered one of the most beautiful water towers in the region and is a listed historical monument.
