Year of construction: 1982, as part of the state plan for grain storage and distribution.
It was part of the National Network of Silos and Granaries, created to guarantee the storage and distribution of grain in Spain during the 20th century.
In 2021, the property was transferred free of charge to the Turleque Town Council by the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, with the aim of converting it into an Ethnographic Museum and a storage facility for machinery and equipment.
