In the popular Sint-Andrieswijk, now the heart of the Antwerp fashion district, the Augustinians built the Sint-Andrieskerk at the beginning of the sixteenth century. Inside, you'll find beautiful Baroque altars and works of art from the seventeenth century, such as the monument to the Scottish Queen Mary Stuart. The theatrical pulpit from the nineteenth century is a must-see.

St. Andrew's Church is the parish church of the St. Andrew's parish in the city of Antwerp. This parish roughly coincides with the fourth district or St. Andrew's Quarter and was known at the time as the parish of misery. Construction of the church was begun by the Augustinian brothers in the early 16th century. Hendrik Conscience was one of the newborns baptized in this church. Since November 25, 2007, part of the church has been converted and opened as a church museum.
