San Pedro del Rio is a small colonial-style village with cobblestone streets, white houses with blue shutters, and many colorful flowering shrubs along the roadside. The village is incredibly quiet and has a wonderful atmosphere. There are a few craft shops, restaurants, and a couple of truly charming posadas. The tranquility emanating from this beautiful, well-kept place is unique. The clocks tick quite differently here, and much slower.
