I highly recommend this parking lot with its information board for cycling and hiking tours around the Kirchensee and Schaalsee lakes. Some parking spaces in Zarrentin are subject to a fee.
However, there are currently plenty of free parking spaces near the church.
It's also a good starting point for tours.
Current update 9.4.25:
Unfortunately, the parking spaces near the church have also been subject to a fee for some time now. What a shame.
