Mountainbiking
The legend revolves around the Hundsmarter - the local mountain of Markersbach. Today, the upper reservoir (the upper reservoir) of the pumped storage Kaftwerk is located on the hilltop. According to the legend, the following story should have happened:
500 years ago, the Hundsmarterweibl for a vain reason his witch leg trampled on the Hundsmarter so that the mountain has risen and devoured it in a huge Feuerlohe. Every day since that day, every 100 years, he would come out of the mountain at the hour of his hellish journey, to see how the world lives.
