Vandring
The geographical center of Mexico is located in Tequisquiapan, according to a historic decree by President Venustiano Carranza in 1916. Although this determination is more symbolic and political than scientifically accurate, it was proudly adopted by the city. The monument consists of three rectangular columns that join at the top and support a large metal pendulum. Beneath the pendulum is a convex stone slab depicting the silhouette of Mexico.
