Between the unfortunately failed Ruhr Bridge ("Quality of Stay") and the University of Applied Sciences, there is finally a 1.3 km short RS1 section in the original RS1 design. Opened on May 15, 2019. This enables a car-free connection between the Essen University campus and Mülheim University of Applied Sciences. (Some of the photos still show the construction condition).

The section in Mülheim is the most beautiful for us. You practically drive over the city and have a great view.
