In 2000, Radio Lippe called on its listeners to calculate the geographical center of Lippe. It turned out that this is on the site of the local mill. So a tree was planted on the spot by the district administrator Heuwinkel and the head of the cadastral office Peters with the inscription "Centre Lippes".

The holiday hike through the Passade valley led to the geological center of the former "Principality" Lippe.
