Cykling på elcykel
There's a special species of human being in the Austrian Alps: the mountain farmer. These brave souls cultivate steep slopes that would be considered climbing routes for normal people and raise cows that are more sure-footed than a spiked shoe.
Why do they do this? Well, who else would get up at 4 a.m. to milk a herd of cows standing on a meadow with a 45-degree slope? And all this with a view that tourists pay hundreds of euros for? For the mountain farmer, that's just "Tuesday."
