The small, basically free (exception: Museum Island) alternative to Plitvica. Enjoying increasing popularity in the meantime..... I wouldn't sign it if it wasn't so crowded

In Slunj there is a kind of open-air museum, which brings you closer to the former use of hydroelectric power with a mill.
Particularly impressive is the confluence of the rivers Slunjčica and Korana. Countless waterfalls rush down over many cascades. Really worth seeing.
Incidentally, there is still the original totem from the Winneto film "Schatz am Silbersee". Parts of it were also filmed in Slunj.
