The Peti moat is one of four moats built by the Ottoman army in the territory of Sjenica for defensive purposes.
Like the other moats, this one was destroyed during the siege and conquest by Karadjordje's army in 1809.
On the terrain itself, there are visible depressions in several places, which could mean that they were created by cannonballs. However, there is no data to support this theory.
