The mill operated until 1960. The windmill was funded by Jan Owsiejko, and built by Jan Zabłocki based on plans brought from the USA. The building is almost 13.5 meters tall and has three stories. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The entire structure is closed, with all entrances bricked up. You can only see through one window, although I saw more in the photo than in reality.
