The station, the railway keeper's house and the fruit buildings next to it are worth seeing. A little further from the track is also a former auction house and cold store.
Wikipedie zagt: The station building was built in the year 1898. The building is the same as that of Obdam Station. A plaque for the fallen railway personnel with 1 name on it has been hung for the killed personnel of this station during the Second World War.

Here, the difficulties of structural change are vividly presented in a microcosm. The train station is located a bit outside the city and is no longer used as such. The small market hall – once well-located for logistics reasons – has also lost its original purpose. The result is a mix of new uses, decay, and expansion (often more economical than attractive) that doesn't always do justice to the historic building fabric.
