Here, you'll find simple, typically French dishes at relatively low prices. Although the two floors are mass-produced, the restaurant still has its charm. It feels like you're in Paris over 100 years ago.
We recommend arriving before 12:30 p.m. After that, expect very long waits.

If you really want to experience Paris – away from overpriced tourist traps – then there's no way around Bouillon Chartier. This traditional Parisian restaurant is a true piece of history, and you can feel it with every step through the impressive dining room with its high ceilings, Art Nouveau decor, and mirrored walls.
What makes it special? The atmosphere is authentically French, lively, and charmingly chaotic. The waiters – all in classic uniforms – even enter your meal with handwritten bills on paper tablecloths. And best of all: the prices! By Parisian standards, Bouillon Chartier is almost unbeatably affordable.
