Oldenburg is what we call a really small town up here. With a lively market square, a venerable town hall and a beautiful townscape. Plus modern shopping opportunities, good restaurants and cozy cafes. You can find interesting things on every corner in Oldenburg: when hiking in the idyllic lake and meadow landscape, when shopping in the shopping streets, when strolling through the weekly market or when chatting in the old gas stations in Oldenburg city center.
